Dr. Lynberg, an adjunct instructor in Speech
Communications at San Diego Mesa College since 1998. He also teaches courses
in Communications at MiraCosta College-San Elijo, Grossmont Community
College, and both Speech Arts and Philosophy for United States Navy
Colleges’ PACE program. Formerly he taught as a University Lecturer at
Revelle College, UCSD in the Interdisciplinary Program and at the University
of Maryland’s University College.
His primary research interests continue in the areas
of what is good teaching and learning, philosophy for new generations and
communication arts. He is a member of the Mesa College Academic Senate,
served on the Accreditation Committee. He is also a life member of Blue Key
Honorary Society at U.S.C., Delta Chi Fraternity, San Diego Trojan Club, San
Diego World Affairs Council, Phi Delta Kappa National Education Fraternity,
American Educational Research Association. He held a commission as
Lieutenant in the United States Naval Reserve (1967-71). He has engaged in
research sabbaticals at Harvard University, Intensive Spanish Language and
Cultural Studies at the Cuernavaca Center, the Gregorian University in Rome,
Dr. Peter Drucker’s Institute at Claremont Colleges and postgraduate studies
in Communications at San Diego State University.
